Director of Thought Leadership and Engagement
Becca Bycott is the Director of Thought Leadership and Engagement for the FiscalNote Executive Institute, where she develops programs, events, and thought leadership content that uniquely responds to timely, pressing issues affecting global companies. She brings 15 years of experience advising CEOs, academic leaders, and government officials in strategic communications, digital marketing, and event planning. Her roles have included supporting university presidents in speech writing, crisis communications, and comprehensive rebranding campaigns; spearheading digital engagement for assistant secretaries at the U.S. Department of State; leading PR trainings for international CEOs and partner organizations in affiliation with U.S. Government-sponsored exchange programs; and developing content strategy as a part of consulting for nonprofits, startups and public affairs teams.
Becca attended the University of Texas at Austin for a bachelor’s degree in journalism and the University of Kansas, Lawrence, for a master’s degree in American Studies. She has a certificate in international communications from Southern Methodist University.
