I am thrilled to share that on Aug. 15, 2022, the FiscalNote Executive Institute was named the winner of a Bronze Stevie® Award as a “Thought Leader of the Year: Consumer Services” in The 19th Annual International Business Awards®! Stevie Award winners were determined by the average scores of more than 300 executives worldwide who participated in the judging.

FNEI’s entry was among 3,700 nominations from organizations in 67 nations and territories, and we could not be more proud to celebrate this win! By collaborating closely with our strong network of senior executives, industry leaders, and experts, as well as supporters across FiscalNote’s lines of business, we have worked tirelessly to create a community that helps companies worldwide address their most pressing challenges.

Timely topics and relevant content

The key strengths for which we were recognized include our timely topics and programming (corporate activism, the politicization of ESG, and saving bipartisanship, to name a few recent examples), our ability to forge partnerships with new organizations (10 new partnerships within the past two years alone, and counting), and our commitment to producing quality content that responds to current events (such as our Roe v. Wade FNEI Insights and video series and CQ Roll Call’s “Equal Time” podcast we support that explores the latest social equity issues affecting policy and culture).

Growing an inclusive community of leaders

FNEI also earned high marks for how we’ve strategically expanded our Advisory Board and upheld diversity. In addition to our outstanding group of founding members, we have added nine new members to FNEI’s Advisory Board over the past year (four women, five people of color, and the Board’s first international member) from companies such as Meta, General Motors, and Colgate-Palmolive. Our Institute regularly features at least one woman and one person of color at our programs, drawing upon a growing group of experts with whom we’ve forged relationships.

Tapping into FiscalNote’s expertise and timely insights

I was pleased to note our outreach across FiscalNote and its impressive portfolio of brands also caught the judges’ attention. If you’ve attended FNEI’s programs or read our resources, it’s likely you’ve heard from a policy analyst, an expert in global marketing intelligence, or come across helpful research on ESG strategy, all thanks to FiscalNote’s comprehensive resources it provides through its lines of business. It’s exciting to strategically grow our Institute to not only support executives across a diverse range of industries at global companies, but internally at FiscalNote itself.

We’re just getting started

As FNEI’s Director for the past two years, I’ve absolutely loved collaborating with our Advisory Board, FiscalNote’s incredible leadership teams, my peers at partner organizations, and senior executives from companies around the world to take our community to the next level. I know FNEI’s Stevie® Award is just the beginning – we have so much more we can create together!

Would you like to help us grow? We are always looking to meet new executives who might benefit from our network. We love teaming up with organizations and think tanks to form strategic partnerships, facilitate important conversations, and create unique thought leadership content. We are committed to being innovative in how we tell our story and that of countless companies in our network.
